I started the Photo a Day challenge on March 30, 2005 after admiring several of the galleries here and deciding it would be good motivation to actually take and post photos of whatever strikes me during the day.. I also saw it as a way to expand my knowledge and ability in photography and to become more confident and comfortable with it. One of the greatest experiences I've had thus far was the 2006 B/W February Challenge.

Please feel free to leave comments including constructive criticism as to how to improve.. granted some days during this first year of Photo a Day I've taken shots at the last minute just to get a shot in which doesn't produce the greatest results but it does at least make me pick up the camera each day. I shoot in RAW on my 20D and process the Raw files with Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw further post processing is done with Adobe Photoshop. I have used Photoshop since PS6 - currently using Photoshop CS3 Extended.

I'm a freelance web designer and designed the css and graphics specifically for my pages... there are great wiki's on css for pbase which can be accessed in the forums... If you are curious as to what was done on a shot or questions on css ask... If I have time I'll tell...
