Since you like herptology, you would like all the lizard photos I have of the Anolis Carolinensis. Watergardening brought them to my garden in the Tennessee, although they are found as far west as Oklahoma and TX, and only north to about TN, Native to the USA, Tropics and Subtropics...Enjoy visiting if you want to see plenty of garden art, GSMNP and Lizards. Lifelong artist and photographer.(Gourley Garden) ajoins the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in TN / USA.

Joe -

I stumbled into your Website this morning (don't recall how I ended up there!) and immediately recognized the name. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing your photo gallery. Great photos! One correction though -- the "Emory Peak" BBNP shots are actually views of "Casa Grande," located at the edge of The Basin. Emory Peak is further up in the Chisos and just off the trail to Laguna Meadow. I've been making regular trips to my favorite park since retiring from Tex P&W two years ago. I was one of your helpers (the one with poor hearing) during your BCV surveys in and around the Kerr WMA a number of years back. Glad to see you're still active in the out-of-doors. Maybe I'll run into you in the future if you make additional trips to Big Bend NP.

Very nice Joe! I didn't realize you were that into photography, but then it's hard to spend so much time outdoors without becoming interested in preserving the memories. You can see lots of my pics at http:// photobucket. com/vicbell The site wouldn't let me put in a hyperlink, so I had to put in a couple of blanks spaces. Many of them are wildflower pics from my 20 acres of woods in the foothills of the Appalachians in NE Alabama.

Joe; Yes the photos of the bats used a infra-red trip. Difficult but a blast. Bruce
