Saw your photo essay in the May issue of New Mobility magazine this morning & I was really impressed. My wife has advanced progressive MS & she relates to your falls, your frustrations over doing simple things like dressing, showering, transferring, etc. Your photo essay was wonderful, creative and a public service. I have just had the privilege of looking at your 'Epilogue' collection. It is a wonderful compilation of all that is so special about you. To me, it is the most special of all your work (and that is really saying something!). Earlier I used to check and comment on your work at least every week, but have had a rather lengthy 'health challenge.' Your images and words are truely inspirational (they always have been), I am now motivated to get my camera out for the first time in many months, and I bless you for that. Aroha

First, may I slightly and with respect contradict Lucky Cole: Perhaps, ok definitely some men may view such work thru sexual eyes, but many, especially photographers and others of a creative nature do not. To me personally: there is nothing to compare with the beauty of the mature female figure. To me 'she' represents life, life's experiences, sensuality, and your work captures this so eloquently, as do your words. I bless you for that and am indeed both grateful and inspired. Patricia, I am still trying to start my gallery of timeless beauty. I look at your work and it is always very inspiring for me. Most of the comments on my galleries are from men. Patricia, I love your work. I have been doing photos of women for over 40 years. Some of the women I photograph have been posing for me for decades. I find that as the years pass, the women become more and more interesting to photograph. Most men just want to look at the young women in my galleries. wow. i am awestruck. not only are you prolific, but truly a gifted photographer. i'm especially taken with the "hopper" black and whites. seeing ed's piano made my heart swell. such good childhood memories. also loved seeing that tiny lit up christmas tree. we were so lucky to have you and Dr. D. in our young lives. so good to see you patricia. you look wonderful and are as full of vibrant life and sunshine as always. love to Dr. D we'll call you in the summer if we make it back to gp!
